Clean Energy partnership! The first rooftop photovoltaic installation on PROFI supermarket was commissioned by Armand Energy, the renewable energy Division of Armand Group

Armand Group Energy Division has installed the first photovoltaic system (60 KW) on the rooftop of PROFI supermarket in Romania.

The photovoltaic system on the rooftop of PROFI supermarket in the city of Lipova, Arad County, represented the launching of a program of development of the supermarket’s network, supported by a framework agreement concluded between PROFI and Armand Energy. Its purpose aims to install photovoltaic panels on the rooftops of all its shops across the country.
The construction was completed in early November, the plant having a capacity of 60 KW. On the roof of the PROFI store were installed 240 solar panels with a power of 250 W each. Basically the store consumption will be powered by photovoltaic solar sources becoming the first “Green Supermarket” in the country.
The PROFI program is part of the company’s plan to grow through innovation and new technologies, to use the free energy of the sun to power its stores and reduce emissions of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere – thus contributing to creating a clean and sustainable environment.
